Denne silke er blevet behandlet med det der kaldes en “Sand Wash”, hvilket betyder at det er blevet vasket eller nærmest slebet med sand eller et andet groft materiale. Dette har givet silkesatinen et mere mat look, der minder lidt mere om en fløjlsagtigt glans end satin.

Dette er den lettere Crepe Satin, der er blevet behandlet, så den har det samme luksuriøse fald.
